You would be surprised at the number of losers here in Thailand who are betting on the come, eg betting on their inheritance from their parents to finance their lifestyle here. I cant get my head round the fact, these guys dispose of their biggest asset to invest in something they can never own. One  upcountry sold a house in Nottingham to finance the dream, his problem was, it wasnt his dream it was someone elses. Right opposite him sits an upcountry mansion the locals cant afford to rent or buy, it was built for her mother. He and his teerak were going to live on 25k baht per month (yeah right) his problem was, his MiL moved in, followed by some uneducated upcountry hick type daughter, (knocked up at 15)and her worthless husband and the inevitable kid. 25 into 2, may be doable, 25 into 6, no chance. Never mind, living the dream as they say. |
