Not a problem, great idea, all your medical history recorded on a micro dot, would sure help first responders etc etc. Depending on how it is developed, may reduce bank fraud etc etc.

Works for me, rather than have to report every 90 days I could just wave my chipped body part over a sensor and presto - but only if we could chose where to have the chip implanted and which part of the body must be presented to the terminal/sensor, it could even be fun.

Bit awkward that tony, if one is using said chip as an electronic wallet, drop your kegs and bare your hairy bottom everytime you buy a Jamesons in your local...

"No just keep the bottle....we insist!!" A serious question here, for purpose of efficient alcohol consumption , dont some alcoholics give themselves vodka enemas, as their guts can no longer take the booze ?....if this is not an urban legend...problem solved, drop your kegs bend over and pay for the bottle with your microchip wallet and they can shove the whiskey bottle up ya bum...and never spill a drop

The future is here – a Swedish rail company is trialling letting passengers use biometric chips as tickets Gone are the days when an e-ticket was seen as cutting edge – one Swedish rail company is offering passengers the option of using a biometric chip implanted into their hand in lieu of a paper train ticket. SJ is the first travel company in the world to let people use this innovative method that seems straight out of a sci-fi film. The tiny chip has the same technology as Oyster cards and contactless bank cards – NFC (Near Field Communication) – to enable conductors to scan passengers’ hands. www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/sj-rail-train-tickets-hand-implant-microchip-biometric-sweden-a7793641.html

I would be hopeless at it. It would be like - "Hang on, do I stick it in or just swipe it" ?
