TV mods are not appointed for their intellectual prowess, and more likely their ability to bite a pillow Ahh hem! I was appointed moderator there. There's some really good people doing the mod bit. Anguid, Shaggy, Sheryl, Craig . . . I also like Charlie and Scott and . . . George, he's actually sound. Oilinki was a mod too. It's a horrible forum to try and moderate. Some of the mods there don't connect with the members and I think that's the main issue. George is a lovely chap, I've errrr 'taken tea' with him several times, and more than a handful of the mods JaiDee, Raro, Soundman, etc, all good lads and up for a laugh when the shackles come off. But face facts, there are a hell of a lot of idiots posting on that site, some are just dumb, some are bigots, and some very deliberate trolls, no way would I want to sort through the crap that they post every day. There are unfortunately a couple who appear to enjoy the power trip, and jump to conclusions that don't exist. I think you did a good job over there during your time of internment MJ, glad you survived the experience. |

I wondered at the time how long you could continue being a mod and still remain someone who likes to post an opinion. Just curious, how are mods appointed over there, are people nominated etc? It's hell on earth to be honest. You get asked to do a local mod part first then quickly get to global mod and it's all downhill from there. Quite how most of them keep it up is beyond me and it's no wonder they get the hump and resort to Stalag17 standard procedures. Oilinki will no doubt say the same. I keep hearing about this other forum, never seen it and don't want to after reading all the stories here. Sounds like a prison camp. More like a hotel, but not in California. You can check out anytime you like, but some don't want to leave. |

Wonderful a mod in a forum who doesn't or cant understand Thai geography.
So now see clearly the I.Q level of the mods in the other place as well as their self god given right to be able to monitor and censor posts as well as suspending and banning others who have an I.Q. streets ahead of these born again morons. .
