Having been stomach pumped, still hallucinating from the effects of the stuff in my blood, an angel, a nurse spoke to me.
A young kid, a trainee, and she took my hand.

I do not recall what she said, but that was not of importance.
Her look was of sorrow that i could have done that.
My view of it, perhaps she was just doing her job.

Then some platitude, but i was not listening, we smiled. 

That moment is etched in my mind.
