My opinion, seeing as the weight of an aircraft plays a big role in the amount of fuel required for a flight and therefore has a direct correlation to the cost, the weight of a passenger should have a direct relationship to the cost of ones ticket, same as excess baggage does Should obese people payn for two seats ? If they are double the weight of two "normal" people then yes why not, but the problem is what does one define as "normal" guess thats the real debate Really that's a no brainer Soutie. They can use Tony Tiger as the standard (a yardstick). If anyone weighs more than Tony Tiger then charge them double. They should also ban ducks from getting free rides on the wings. |

I am talking about phat phunks having a sense of entitlement on a plane. You think they should have a special section onthe plane? yeah its called the hold, they can join the noisy spoilt brat kids who should be in there as well. |

Come on Tony they're cute! I'd rather sit next to one of them than some pig. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the dogs, it's just their airhead owners who think the world revolves around their beloved Fifi or Fido. bodger <theduck>s, the lot of them. I hate these stupid owners so much that I have even given myself a like for that post. |

Im okay with fatties unless they are sitting on me, so maybe yes, they should pay extra if in reality they need an extra seat. Im also and especially not ok with screaming kids, screaming and shouting people from China, or anywhere else, or other people whose behaviour invades my personal peace and space and quiet. Im also not ok with inconsiderate seat recliners or people in front whose hands stray over the backs of their seats into my space. Basically I hate flying more and more and now hope a giant asteroid hits the Earth to reduce numbers. There are too many f*****g people and mostly they are of the loud, inconsiderate and highly unpleasant types.

At check in they should have a set of scales set in the floor to stand on, similar to they case weigh thingy.......You fat, you pay.
I am a weeee guy that had to take a few pairs of pants out my case cos it was a tad over weight. Stuffed them in my carry on so all was OK......Fat bar steward can just walk on.........Feeeeerking crazy......

There was a lawsuit when two lard butts flew together so they could purchase three seats for the two of them. The idiot airline rep insisted on a literal interpretation of regs and forced the flyers to purchase two seats each.
I make a point of taking aisle seats and not getting on flights so crowded that the seat next to me cannot be blocked. I do have an issue with airlines who scrimp on leg room. I don't like my kneecaps jammed into the seat in front of me. When one flies JetStar or Air Asia, take the emergency exit seats so you get that leg room.
