I saw her at the rental place - around twenty-six years old, six foot tall, what a body, covered in tasteful tattoos. A stunning looking woman, every graceful move had every Thai guy in the place in full erection mode. I blame them not, I couldn't keep my eyes off her.
She drifted back and forward enough to constantly catch the sight of Son of Blether who did what any decent red-blooded male should do, engage her in conversation - a prelude, perhaps, to engaging her in other ways.
Alas, this gorgeous Swiss-French woman was there to sell her bike, she's leaving on Wednesday, her dream of being a Muay Thai boxer over - the piggy bank says no. 12,000 baht she paid for the 2007 Yamaha bike, she hoped the rental place would buy it back for 10.
No, came the answer - Son of Blether inquired what would happen next. She'll meet a guy tonight who said he'll give her 11,000 baht. A few onlookers would like to meet her tonight to give her something, of that there is no doubt. Son of Blether suggested that he could be the buyer of last resort. A price of 8,000 baht was agreed subject to the bike not selling tonight.
The end of a dream - back to work she will go.
TiT.
This is reality.

Meanwhile, the romantic dreamer from Saraphi is dreaming of riding her, sight unseen, just trusting the vivid description given by the dirty ol' man from Scotchland.

One can live in Paris—I discovered that!—on just grief and anguish. A bitter nourishment—perhaps the best there is for certain people. At any rate, I had not yet come to the end of my rope. I was only flirting with disaster. ... I understood then why it is that Paris attracts the tortured, the hallucinated, the great maniacs of love. I understood why it is that here, at the very hub of the wheel, one can embrace the most fantastic, the most impossible theories, without finding them in the least strange; it is here that one reads again the books of his youth and the enigmas take on new meanings, one for every white hair. One walks the streets knowing that he is mad, possessed, because it is only too obvious that these cold, indifferent faces are the visages of one's keepers. Here all boundaries fade away and the world reveals itself for the mad slaughterhouse that it is. The treadmill stretches away to infinitude, the hatches are closed down tight, logic runs rampant, with bloody cleaver flashing

...................."One can live in Paris—I discovered that!—on just grief and anguish"........................ If that was the case we would not have such a thing as "digital pikeys", we have people who have developed the art of living on nothing but grief and anguish. Actually, I think I have met a few over the years, hanging off barstools in various dives around SE Asia.

As for tossers, well enough said. I do not speak; perhaps here. Are you a tosser? An aside, step son just met me and apologised. Give me a jab of that stuff.
