One of my favorite parts of living in Myanmar is their anachronistic visa rules.
One year work permit? Long term visa? Hell no.
I have to (get to) flee the country every 10 weeks and spend the weekend in another land! I come back with an invitation letter asking the kind souls in charge of immigration here in The Union of the Republic of Myanmar to let me stay another 70 days. It's great! 18 hours from now, I'll be sipping Chang Beer in Saphan Kwai, trying not to drink too much before hitting the girlie bars adjacent to my room at the Suda Palace Hotel.
Best thing of all is that my company pays for the whole thing.
Still trying to get the midget ladyboy hookers to give me a receipt.

Try 400% upcharge because of their rarity!
It's a good thing I only come to Bangkok once every 10 weeks. I couldn't afford any more often/

WHAT IS THIS!?!? THEY'VE SHUTDOWN ALL THE STRIPPER BARS ON SUTHISAN WINTICHAI ROAD IN SAPHAN KWAI!!! Dancing hookers across the road was the whole reason I picked this hotel!

Vaguely remember walking past more than 20 years ago when I did some work at GSB (aka Om Sin). I was told at the time it was more aimed at locals, Thai that is. Guess Thai will know where they moved to  |
