At same moment wife came by.
Hell we had been bruising last night.
She provoking me to hit her, me laughing.
Son upset.
Spoke to him calmly.
Spoke to my wife calmly this morning.
Wife just smiled as she walked by.
Idiot left with egg on his face.

Wife and son will have their own versions which are "true". I can only relate my perception. I was angry over a minor, in retrospect. issue. Clash of cultures, "face" and my western diplomacy, back down for now, this is going no where good. Was i right? No. I should not have exploded in the first place. But i did and there follow consequences. I was better adapted at knowing that, backed down until a calmer time. |
