I used to run down to the Library after school when I'd finished one of these so I could pick up the next one. Happy memories. Getafix  ....I should sue them. |

On the basis of this thread Oom went and sought out all the original cartoon movies on You Tube and watched a few last night, had forgot about these, the cartoons and books were excellent
They even have the original "Asterix the Gaul" cartoon, which in English had different character names for example the opening titles on the one i watched last night identified "Getafix" as the druid, but in the movie, he is called something else...

I've always been cartoon and strip crazy. Had many cartoon magazines and books and somehow 'found' a lot of them again in PDF or CBZ/CBR format. Have all "Asterix en Obelix". Also 'Valerian' I've got (in Dutch known as Ravian). My favorites though a few non-toon Laurel and Hardy movies  |
