With regards to farming, how do the Thais refer to it? Rubber isn't working at 20 Baht/kilo. We need another option.

Organic salad and European herbs...selling prices range at about 100 thb/ kilo salad and 300-400thb/kg for herbs. Just a tip get the seeds from Australia the European ones will not germinate-it's too bloody hot. Next thing are mushrooms easy to grow...

From the other place. One of the guys has a mate doing Durian 700k pa from 2 crops on 10 Rai. He delays flowering on half his trees. I just need Sopha to go talk to this KP and see if we can grow them on the land. Irrigation is not an option, but we are top of the rainfall charts.

European type greens/herbs aren't terribly practical for the local market, unless one has secured several buyers [good luck with that ] from Farang restaurants and such.
re: European herbs Mostly all of what are considered "European herbs" aren't native to Europe - greatly introduced from Asia and ME.

Thinking of long beans. A 10m x 10m plot brings in around 300฿ every other day selling locally.
