It is burning hot recently, but it’s not a good idea to stay in an air-conditioned room all day. I decide to have a trip to Mt.Ali. We are lucky that we have already booked the tickets for the train to fenchihu. The scenery along the rail is charming and the atmosphere is relaxing.





It takes us about 2 hours from Chiayi train station to fenchihu train station. During these two hours, you’ll know more about fenchihu from the broadcast. In the same time, the train bumping along the mountain road, such an interesting experience. But somebody might feel uncomfortable in this situation. There’s another way to go to fenchihu for sure!! You can take the bus as well.





Once you get off the train, you can visit the old locomotive garage near the station and take pics with him. What’s more, you can join the guided tour provided by fenchihu hotel for free. I have to say that it is really wonderful.





It’s easy to figure the front door of fenchihu hotel which is close to train station and the old street. Also, there’s a convince store next to the hotel. How convince is it!





You can see the most popular lunch box at the front desk. You should have one cause it kept by an aluminum box which is genuine traditional delicious food





You’ll have a Braised chicken leg and a Pork Ribs in the same time. It’s tasty and exquisite!! In spite of the lunches, you can have a special flavour set meal here as well. It would be good for a group having a meal together.

It’s clean and the beds here are Japanese tatami. I thought that the bunk mattress would be hard. But it is totally out of blue, it is comfortable when you sleep on it and not prickly at all.



If you book the room with Japanese tatami, there will be a SPA Bathtub in oak. Of course, you can enjoy it after you had an excellent tour guide. What’s more, traditional tea sets are all ready for you. It’s great to have a cup of tea and chatting with friends there.





There are many kinds of gourmet food in the old street. Like the “dougan burger” in my hand, it tastes like “Gua bao”. Take in a big mouthful and enjoy the salty, sour, juicy dried tofu and sweet flavors and the greasy pork swimming in your mouth. Also, it‘s great to have a cup of lemon aiyu jelly. How cool is it in summer!





The tour guide of the fenchihu hotel was divided into three parts. I recommend these three parts to you!! You can enjoy the green shower of the cedar forest.





The breakfast of the hotel is based on Chinese dishes. It’s hearty though I only took a corner of it.
