I wonder if he really is trying to simply goad Trump into making a first strike, costly and for what reason? Personally i think thats exactly what he is doing, as we have realised Trumpton is very compulsive / impulsive As reported in rags today, if Trumpton hits out first NK will be getting Chinas support, if Lil Kim strikes first he is on his own, China will not get involved, so he is poking the tiger hoping it lashes out You're reading that wrong. China - in a stunning and unexpected development - overturning 65 plus years of foreign policy - have announced that they will abandon North Korea to its fate if they fire the threatened missiles. China has given Trump the GREEN LIGHT TO ATTACK NK. |

As usual, the Trump haters calling it all wrong.
Not a chance he will launch either a pre-emptive strike.
NOT A CHANCE HE WILL LAUNCH A NUCLEAR STRIKE.....UNLESS IT IS RETALIATORY AND EVEN THEN, VERY UNLIKELY.
It doesn't suit the USA to have this region covered in radioactive material. The USA and allies will obliterate NK within a week maximum. I predict three days.
The only NK soldiers on SK soil will be running across the border under a white flag at the first opportunity.
And you can expect Lil Kim to get the Romanian treatment within hours. There will be plenty around him prepared to pull that trigger in the hope they can curry favour with the post-war power-brokers.

And this is a masterclass in Chinese diplomacy. They have a long-standing policy of no war with the USA - they know they can't win it.
Setting aside they can't win a military war - they'll lose over $1 trillion worth of USA government bonds. Not a chance the USA will honour that debt to a war enemy nation.
But most important of all - the Communist Party cannot afford defeat. And the Chinese national psyche can't afford it either.
Better to throw Kim to the dog's and pretend that you are omnipotent.

In a worst case scenario, China seems to have two choices, allow the US to blast away at NK and then occupy the country - that would put US troops on the Chinese border so that's not going to happen.
The alternative might just be for China to take over NK themselves, that would end the conflict, put America in China's debt big time and prevent America from settling in on their borders.
I think if I was Xi I might just do the latter, but there again if I was Xi I wouldn't be spending my time trying to sort out my pension on BigMango and being paranoid about ducks looking over my shoulder. Either way, the short fat guy needs to start worrying because it's not going to end well for him.

It's a typo., it should read wysteria, the wysteria is too tall and needs trimming down a notch, the geraniums could probably be cut back also.
