Your thoughts if you've tried it....
I couldn't drink the stuff much more than 2 or 3 nips , but I think it's delicious in a half decent whisky. Lovely flavour.

Disgusting stuff, much loved by morocy wins and labourers on a daily rate, gawd knows what state their livers are in.
Why the heck would I ruin the flavour of a half decent whisky such as Ballantines or Chivas by putting that crap in it.
The local sorry shop does a roaring trade in the stuff, probably one of their highest profit sales.
Shot of the stuff for 10 baht, an M 150 bottle for 25 baht.
Comes in two strengths, 28% and 40 %, the loso drink the cheap stuff the hiso drink the sua see sip.
Go look at any house that is being built and you will see the empty bottles littering the place, along with Birdy caffeine drinks and empty bottles of Sponsor.
If I were an entrepreneurial type I would buy it up an export it, market it to the Red Bull/Vodka types, the same people who drink Monster energy drinks.
Come to think of it, the pikeys used to sell bottles of Pothcheen out the back of Ford Transit vans years ago, Fri and Sat nights were their best sellers.

I hate lao kao , hong tong etc etc. Sua sipet would only work in their favour. It's nice but like I said 2 of 3 is my limit of it.

Next time you are offered it, get a saucer, coke can turned upside down or what ever, pour some of it onto the saucer and set fire to it, what colour does it burn, and how much crap is left on the saucer when the flame burns itself out.
