Used to love 'Play Your Card right' as a kid, also the dolly dealers, they were the Brucey bonus for me and my GD.
Friday night round at grandads, played cards before and after but never during the show, we got nothing for a pair but wouldn't of minded a feel.
Was nice to see you, to see you nice RIP
P.S I once got you mixed up with Jimmy Greaves, until you stood up

A showbiz career spanning over 70 years. RIP A night at the London Palladium, and there was an actors strike. He and Norman Wisdom did the entire show.

A true professional who trod the boards for many a year and gave me and I am sure many others a great pleasure. Indeed it will be long time before we see the likes of Brucie and his particular entertainment genre again.

Excellent entertainer Watching Brucie as a youngster, host Sunday Night at the London Paladium, brings back many fond memories, not the least of which was watching him introduce The Rolling Stones. It was 1967 and I recall my dad being very upset at "old rubber lips", who would, "never amount to anything in life", c'est la guerre pappa, c'est la guerre.

It was 1967 and I recall my dad being very upset at "old rubber lips", who would, "never amount to anything in life", c'est la guerre pappa, c'est la guerre. My memory of those days was mum and dad questioning my 3 elder brothers about my taste in music. "Do they take drugs?" My brothers being Stones and Beatles fans. 555
