Old friends of a time long ago.
It came to a bitter end.
Hippity likes that.
But possibly a happy end, if there is such a thing.

Just kind of strange.
The others in the photograph, well one i still am in contact with.
Of my ex, no contact.
Her mother and i did correspond until her death.

The last time we met, ex that is, was in my cottage in Norfolk.
Mutual friends arranged it.
We were both re married.
It was kind of funny.
A bit like that photograph.
No hate, no recriminations.
But the knowledge we both shared.

Of hippity, let me suppose he has only been married once.
That it was a virgin marriage by both.
