Jeez rubl that's a bit harsh mate. The only coverage of that would be a 10 second clip on the news. In other words , no one would care much about it or even know about it unless you were involved in the race.

Adelaide might have changed since your last visit. We had the Grand Prix , we had LeMans , but now still a massive event is the v8 race cars on the streets. Huge numbers attend and bands like Kiss play it. We also have the Fringe festival which is as big as the Edinburgh festival and Womad festival. Its months of big world stage parties.

When I went there as a young one I remember there was a pub on every three corners and a church on the other....sunday once souls were saved it was time to get down to serious business.  Pity that Coopers is the one beer I cannot stand.

Sensible ones know food and clothes are fairly safe.  Real posts risk them either losing their job or not gettin it when their social media is checked by HR
