That tender trap should have been created with teeth then we men would be a little more circumspect. What at first appears to be a simple cavity excites the heights of mans depravity.

Any thai seeing a thai woman with a farang, will assume she is an ex prostitute. No problem for me; my wife is an ex prostitute. And so thai have i become, i think the same when seeing the happy couple. Forget , she is a bank manager shit. Just look at a certain person who married a farang. I also know farang women who have married thai men. Different story. The mrs and I live in Bkk, not the boonies, I couldnt give a shit what the betel eating paak jat old yais gossip about in their one buffalo town upcountry. Heck even the Thais refer to them as ban nork, and thats a polite term compared to some of the others I could use. Welcome to the year 2017, women are allowed to vote, leave the house get a job and earn their own income. Thailand is a caste society based on family and patronage. Marriage, as in all caste/class societies is a means of connecting families and patronage. Love has nothing to do with it at the higher levels. Rgs once wrote of how in a room, Thai will have sussed the rank of all within seconds. Women in Thailand indeed have considerable power and status, female status. It too is based on rank, family, patronage. That, no insult here, the mon are at the bottom of the pyramid. Certain tattooed, beer swilling farangs are easily recognised and are below the lowest in Thai ranking. The key nok, bird shit white. Any thai woman marrying a farang is well aware that she has married out of the patronage system. A divorced woman likewise is forfeit. Thus for her to marry a farang is indeed a means of wealth and a different form of patronage. She will return to the family fold as a woman of means. But her status in Thai society is forever lost. I mentioned a lady of highest rank, who married an american. Disowned by Thai society, slowly, carefully re established after her divorce, but still of lower rank than her position of birth. Grog or not, my views are based on years of experience in Thailand.

No problem, a long talk with my wife. A few issues resolved, or perhaps not. She is Thai and i am English, a scholar, sunk in philosophy and arts.

Probably because none are required, the man is quite correct in his observations and comments.

Just now to my son, "Like being in the cave of the minotaur. Get that? Of course not,". But we laughed.

And before the classical reference to my son, the long talk with my wife. Difficult, she is Thai. Hell can she grasp a little of what i tried to say? I bet you, whoever cannot. Her words to the madman were, "I hope i die before you do, ".
