Is this the future?
Any red blooded male politician who makes the slightest advance at an associate (be they female or male) is now required to quit and/or commit suicide.
Any entertainer, actor, comedian, whatever, who smiles at someone attractive or pats his/her bottom affectionately loses his career.
Once the purge is complete, the country will be run by the sexless politically correct and our screens will be filled with the emasculated.
Are young people (and it is mostly young people that are claiming to be victims of outrageous attention) so feeble these days as to be reduced to wobbling jellies by a clumsy pass or unwanted attention? Do they lack the fibre simply to say "stop it" or "no" or "I'm not interested"?
Are we to be reduced to an Orwellian 1984 where the only acceptable sex is "goodsex", sex purely for procreation and completely devoid of physical enjoyment for the woman, with all other sexual relations being "sexcrime"?

I am not suggesting that all the people who have been accused are innocent, i am sure many are not, but what we have going on here is vigilante/kangeroo court type "justice" which has already caused the death of a welsh politian, now one could suggest politians topping themselves maybe not be a bad thing.... but one cant help there will be many who will be wrongly accused before this is over and maybe more innocent peoples lives get ruined over some trumped up accusation by some bra burning snowflake feminist getting the hump because someone looked at them "funny" and starts howling sexual harassment There needs to be accountabilty, if someone accuses someone and it turns out to be false..the accuser should be sent to jail This whole thing is like a modern day version of the Salem witch trials |

There needs to be accountability, if someone accuses someone and it turns out to be false..the accuser should be sent to jail I'm reminded of a posting on Reddit a few days ago. A young negro woman had sex with a white man, twice. She'd had a couple of beers, but openly consented and says she enjoyed the experiences. The next morning she posts that when she said "yes" she didn't really mean it, and he should have known. She also maintained that because he was white he was abusing white privilege. And she promised to "destroy his life" because (in her twisted mind) he raped her. I suspect that even if the young man had got her to sign a consent form in triplicate before they bumped boots she'd still have changed her mind the next morning and cried "rape!" Some women now seem to think it's perfectly OK to proclaim that something that may or may not have happened decades ago, and may have been perfectly acceptable by the cultural norms of the time, is now "rape". Thank goodness I'm not a young heterosexual man coming to terms with the new reality when it comes to playing doctors and nurses in this day and age. |

Men will need in the future, to take a leaf out of Tony Benn's book. When he gave interviews with the media, he taped it. That way, they could never misquote him. For men's protection, they need to do the same when talking to prospective partners, and save recordings for 60 years.

A while back I had a young tall blonde full-of-itself recent uni student by my side for a few days on the worksite.
Of course I was obliged to show her the ropes, as much as I prefer to work alone. Towards the end she basically implied that we got on maybe a little too well, no accusations. I told her my dear wife was actually the complete opposite to her; dark, short and attractive.

Twentysomethings these days are all using internet dating sites as their first point of contact. How things have changed from the dance of possibility we used to enjoy....at least even the unsuccessful efforts had real interaction. Now they just click the X and move on. |
