It's not completely clear from the article what proportion of total abuses were committed by followers of the imaginary sky wizard. It's just a pity that the government makes believing in him a crime. They could then confiscate the property of the churches and use it to compensate the victims, rather than using taxpayer cash. (Indeed, why the hell should the state be paying compensation, not the churches?)
