Was looking at a new app today called HQ.
How it works is you sign up for free , and partake in a quiz of 12 multi choice questions.
If you get 1 question wrong , you're out.
The quiz is held twice a day. Morning and lunchtime.
The prize is $2500.
So today there was 1 million people on it. I think it's capped at 1 million players. -according to my brother anyway who's a member on it.
So by the end of the 12 questions, those left split the cash.
Today everyone won $1.25.
Yesterday was $7.
The winnings get put into your PayPal account and after $20 you can withdraw it.

Assuming you do not pay for joining the quiz, one may wonder how the company generates sufficient income to be able to 'pay a prize'. 2,500 times 365 is about 912,500 a year.
