A Chinese friend of ours took us out to dinner last night to celebrate Chinese new year, an outstanding restaurant, really quite elegant and quite large with many rooms, Chinese food of the highest quality - dishes from 70 baht to 7,000 (abalone) - the place was packed with a mix. of Thais and Chinese, many quite well heeled.
There's two branches, one very near to the Night Market, the one we went to on the Super Highway heading South, just after Central Festival on the left hand side, a large parking area out front.
It's called, Jia Tong Heng, highly recommended.
