Apparently, Malaysian Moslems are profoundly offended by this video: The performer, Namewee, has been hauled in by the police. Apparently his video, which marks the start of the Chinese year of the dog has "insulted Islam and could negatively impact racial unity and harmony". It also has a dig at corrupt politicians. I, however, thought it funny. Story at www.bangkokpost.com/news/asean/1416982/malaysian-rapper-detained-over-dog-video

Well, that's religion for you. In America people are offended when you kneel when the National Anthem is played.
Same type of attitude, 'God told us what to do and what you do is so wrong I tell you". Notice the hypocrisy in that sentence? Putting oneself on the same level as God?

I'm not sure where in the Koran it says that it's forbidden to put on pooch costumes and have simulated doggy sex. For that matter, I can't pin down exactly where it says that in the Bible. The Tripitaka, however ... It's not so much "God told us what to do" as "we hate anything that undermines our position as arbiters of thought and behaviour and we're going to impose our values upon you in the name of the invisible and impotent sky wizard however ridiculous they may be".

Some posts on this thread are downright wizardist. How come we can't insult Muslims but wizards are fair game? Comparing the Great Sky Wizards to some god out of the fiction book section is also blasphemy.

Lee Kuan Yew was correct, nothing but a bunch of country bumpkins.
The easily offended, yet another Brit success story, we should have let the commies overrun the country.

You weren't paying attention. My remark fell under the "what you do is so wrong I tell you".

And now its now the poors cats abd babies turn to be victimised Muslims filmed burning Pampers because cat looks like prophet’s name in Arabic Muslims in India have been filmed building a pyre of Pampers products because they can see the word Mohammed in the face of a cartoon cat. They say that the lines illustrating the whiskers, nose, mouth and left eye look like the prophet’s name in Arabic or Urdu. Critics have called it an insult to Islam. Activists from the Islamic group Darsgah Jihad-o-Shahadat have lodged a formal complaint about the nappies at Dabeerpura Police Station in Hyderabad, reports the Deccan Chronicle. metro.co.uk/2018/02/22/muslims-filmed-burning-pampers-cat-looks-like-prophets-name-arabic-7332837/amp/

From the article:
Terrific. If boycotting disposable nappies is "the only way to prove our ... love for our Prophet", then there should now be no need for Moslems to blow themselves up, behead soldiers in the streets of London, fly planes into tall buildings, or any of their other nonsense to prove their love for their "prophet".
Let them all use Terry Nappies and the threat of Islam to Western civilisation will evaporate.

The whole Pampers issue highlights just how uneducated, simple minded and ruled by mad Imams and religious dogma's these pitiful creatures are.

'ruled by' reminds me of the Pope, the titular head of the Church of England, and a few more real or figure heads.
Generalisations don't help much.

Exactly, the biggest trouble makers in this world have been and still are the religious cults and their followers. My god loves you and will grant you eternal life. But if you want another brand of god my god will kill you.

Exactly, the biggest trouble makers in this world have been and still are the religious cults and their followers. My god loves you and will grant you eternal life. But if you want another brand of god my god will kill you. Personally I think it's mostly the followers who in their insecurity need 'something' to help guide their lives. Institutions like 'religion', 'anti-religion' help them. Charismatic persons (like Donald Trump for instance) help them feel better somehow. And of course being part of the 'right' organisation' you're right yourself and others are obviously wrong. Then its time for labels no one knows what they clearly mean but all know its negative, 'libtards', 'alternatives', 'fascist', 'the other forum'. The others may be freely insulted, shot at, dumped in the sea, bombed to smithereens. Humans still need to grow up, its a long way I'm afraid
