Has anybody made Scotch eggs?
I could use a tried and tested recipe.
Cheers

Nothing to them
Boiled eggs, sausage meat wrapped around boiled egg and bread crumbs and deep fry...easy
Used to make them all the time

Eggs Benedictine are not made with mayonnaise but with hollandaise. though put one egg yolk with a tbsp of white wine in a stainless mixing bowl clarify app 100 g butter now boil water and whisk the egg yolk ( on the water bath)until nice and foamy and a bit stiff than add drop by drop the clarified butter season with salt, pepper and a squeeze of vinegar dont be disappointed if it doesn't work the first time actually a difficult sauce... what about eggs florentine??

How hot should boiling water be? Depends on the altitude... Good answer cc. The boiling point of water at different altitudes is as such: • Sea level = 100°c • 300 meters above sea level = 98.8°c • 610 meters above sea level = 97.7°c • 915 meters above sea level = 96.6°c • 1,525 meters above sea level = 95°c • 2,285 meters above sea level = 92°c • 3,050 meters above sea level = 90°c • 6,096 meters above sea level = 81°c • 7,925 meters above sea level = 75.5°c Therefore, you might have a problem brewing a cup of tea if you are on top of Everest (8,848 meters above see level). Also, the boiling point of water can differ by about 1 to 2 °c dependent on whether you are using hard water or soft water.
