Tosh. He was convicted of outraging public decency. Recently a couple openly had sex in a pizza shop. They were given 12-month community order - no jail time, no fine. A man with previous convictions for sexually assaulting women was convicted of the same charge and got a suspended sentence. A man who stripped naked in a bingo hall was fined GBP 40. His punishment for what is less offensive is consistent with the other sentences. AYG, I'm not going to get into an argument about this matter. Like yourself I could find shed-loads of judgements that back up my belief but these would be selective in their nature. There are many cases out there where the perps have gotten more severe sentences for a lot less. Therefore, can we agree to disagree? Peace be with you. Thing is Tony the UK justice system is broken, if you look at some of the sentences handed down for serious crimes they are a fking joke so this is consistant as to what has happened here Some months back travelling home from work, sat in the airport and got talking to a guy from the UK who turned out to be a high court judge in the UK and i made similar comments about the punishment not fitting the crime, and his response was dont get me started, its the CPS influenced by the politians to be truthful and he agreed with everything i had said
