"BAHRAIN DISCOVERS LARGEST OILFIELD IN DECADES Bahrain said on Sunday it had discovered the country's largest oilfield in decades, located off the west coast of the kingdom, according to state news agency BNA. The new light shale oil and gas resource is expected to contain many times the amount of oil produced by Bahrain's only existing oilfield, as well as large amounts of gas, BNA reported." www.jpost.com/Breaking-News/Bahrain-discovers-largest-oilfield-in-decades-547639

No doubt we may soon see a rescue effort to restore ''democracy'' by America so as to solve all the problems shown below. In the late 1800's, following successive treaties with the British, Bahrain became a protectorate of the United Kingdom. In 1971, Bahrain declared independence. Formerly an emirate, Bahrain was declared a Kingdom in 2002. In 2011, the country experienced protests inspired by the regional Arab Spring.Bahrain had the first post-oil economy in the Persian Gulf. Since the late 20th century, Bahrain has invested in the banking and tourism sectors. Many large financial institutions have a presence in Manama, the country's capital. Bahrain has a high Human Development Index and was recognised by the World Bank as a high-income economy.
