It's a bit early to say more than 'possible' and 'it looks like' but many factors coming together don't spell well. Some say the weather the last few years hasn't been like before, like they remember from ages ago when they were young. They may be right and it doesn't look it will get better soon. BTW did you know that NewYork is on 40°42′46″N 74°00′21″W and London on 51°30′26″N 0°7′39″W "Ocean Current That Keeps Europe Warm Is Weakening Two new studies show the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation has decreased 15 to 20 percent over the last 150 years Read more: www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/ocean-current-keeps-europe-warm-weakening-180968784/#ps7GJyAhM1fHxGzD.99Give the gift of Smithsonian magazine for only $12! bit.ly/1cGUiGvFollow us: @smithsonianmag on Twitter"

The sky is falling...plot line same as this ? The libtards will suggest this is a right wing / Trumpton / Brexit / UKIP initative to keep out the immigrants, climate change is racist and Islamophobic, as the fuzzy wuzzies are from warmer climes, and therefore not genetically adapted to the freezing cold The British and US governments are blaming Putin for building a big fan cunningly disguised as a power turbine in Siberia and blowing all the cold into Europe... Meanwhile UK weather forecast latest: Britain set for yet another scorcher today after hottest April day in 70 years www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/uk-weather-forecast-latest-britain-set-for-yet-another-scorcher-after-hottest-april-day-in-70-years-a3818941.htmlForecasters predict highs of between 25C and 26C on Friday after coming "excruciatingly close" to the hottest April temperature ever the previous day. Fking pussies....26C and the dumb arse Health and safety lot are telling people to run slower in the London Marathon

It would seem that the weather is a bit more extreme with a slow, very slow upwards indication for average temperature. For Europe the weakening of the warm gulf stream may mean the extreme at the low end gets lower. For other parts of the world no idea. Ask me again in ten to twenty years time

Weather like in 'big city heatsink' and climate like in 'CO2 output' and possibly 'o-zone gap'. So, rather than go back to lentils or stick to 'not in my days' one may wonder if Humanity should start to look for another home, cultivate Mars, things like that. Create a better world not for oneself but for ones grandchildren, or great-grandchildren.

I would even go as far as saying 'too hot'

The Gulf Stream, AKA the current that keeps Europe warm, relies on a certain level of salinity in the sea water. If the salinity drops below a certain level, the Gulf Stream will end. This is not a political thing, it's not an opinion. It's hydrodynamics. Science. So as the ice caps shrink, the ocean water becomes less salty and the Gulf Stream slows down. London is on the same latitude as Calgary, Canada. Paris is north of Montreal. Without the Gulf Stream, Europe would be Siberia-West.
