www.bangkokpost.com/learning/learning-from-news/570083/police-crack-down-on-tuk-tuk-cheatsThe gang was accused of targeting tourists wanting to visit popular tourist attractions in Bangkok such as Wat Pho and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, or Wat Phra Kaew. They used misinformation about the historic places opening hours and used persuasive tactics to get the tourists to go shopping at places that offered them commission fees, said Pol Gen Somyot. The distorted information about the operating hours of tourist venues caused a misunderstanding among tourists and the action of the swindlers tarnished the image of tourism.

What's the crack with the random bold words and vocabulary at the bottom of the article? Are Bangkok Post trying to teach English via news these days. They always do. Very good too. They take an article and make a tape of it. Then they break down the words giving the vocabulary that relates with meanings and the thai words for it. A good way of extending you language skill in Thai with relevant vocab too.

I never noticed the Thai at the end.
