Why do they have primary school educations Soutie? All coming home to roost is the phrase popping around my head. The next Zimbabwe too most probably. Cos it was free and mandatory and under Marxist doctrine to quote a sociology article: Traditional Marxists see the education system as working in the interests of ruling class elites. According to the Marxist perspective on education, the system performs three functions for these elites:
Reproduces class inequality. Legitimates class inequality. It works in the interests of capitalist employersHence education was rejected by the vast majority of the cadres in line with being "good Marxist" Even under the darkest days of Apartheid, University education was provided in the Bantustans by the National party ie The University of Transkei, the University of Venda; the University of the North; and the University of Bopthutswana. Vista University was established with campuses in South Africa for the segregated African townships around Johannesburg, Pretoria, Benoni, Port Elizabeth, and Bloemfontein. Now granted they didnt get as much funding or resources as their comparable white Universities Yes things maybe coming home to roost, maybe one could suggest the settlers in SA didnt try hard enough to wipe out native populations as the settlers did in the US ie the Native Americans, the Aboriginals in Aussie or what the Israelis are trying to do with the Palistinians and it is interesting to see how sucessfull the US and Israeli versions of "Bantustans" actually have been with their "native reservations" on shite land and stealing land building walls around things to put people in ghetto'sSo it seems nothing has been learnt from what happened in SA during the period 1948 to 1990 ( i would say practically apartheid ended around 1988) It's not just loony lefties who have shown hypocrisy. America under Trump is going for an America with the 'right' people. Israel is still at it with blessing of Trump. Aussie Abo's get enough to drink themselves into oblivion. Europe is distracted only, by the refugees from areas they and allied forces have bombed to pieces to liberate them (and the hordes just looking for a better life). As an aside and yes I'm interested, how's the view on countries like Kenya where 'Uhuru' was said to be the way to go?

You silly old sod, the lady in the picture is 'Uhura', Nyota Uhura. "Nichols states in her book Beyond Uhura that the name was inspired by Robert Ruark's book Uhuru, which she had with her on the day she read for the part. When producer Robert Justman explained to Roddenberry what the word uhuru meant, he changed it to Uhura and adopted that as the character's name." BTW I have Robert Ruark's book Uhuru (in epub). Totally un-PC by now I'm afraid. PM me if you want a copy

Robert Ruark's book Uhuru I must say I'm not familiar with Ruark's oeuvre. I did find, however, that his final novel was "The Honey Badger". It was published posthumously. I guess the honey badger had the last laugh. They often do.

Speaking of copious amounts of alcohol and knowledge of Africa...
Whats your take on rooibos tea soutie?
I bought some and really enjoy a cuppa, only to read later it damages your liver due to the pyrrolizidine alkaloids that make their way in there.
Google it and there's 100's of sites saying it's super healthy, yet scientific data saying the opposite.
Sticking to my Stella Artois for now until they can prove otherwise.
Would like to know your take on it though, or anyone else's who drinks it

I didn't know she was Kenyan. Dont know about kenyan, to my eyes she is a gagger. Didn't know what you meant by "gagger". Fortunately the Internet helped out. Apparently a "gagger" is "an unusually large penis that would gag a woman". Frankly, I'm rather surprised she has a penis at all.

Mind you, the lady in question, Nichelle Nichols, looked a lot better in 1966 than nowadays. Born in 1932 so 85 now. BTW her successor in the StarTrek Reboot, Zoë Saldana, also looked more cute in 2009 than she does now. Born in 1978, maybe led a 'wilder' life?

I only found 1. a person or thing that gags 2. a wedge for a core in a casting mould Plus urban dict. "A relatively large amount of a powder substance, usually cocaine, that when inhaled will give the inhaler a choking sensation due particulate matter irritating air passages in the troat and lungs;"
