Remember being dragged into the naval club in singapore years ago by a bunch of ozzies, great times. cilisos.my/the-5-oldest-pubs-in-malaysia-that-are-amazingly-still-open/okay, I know its not the same country, but still glad to know these relics of former times are still going, crazy horse saloon in HK is another that springs to mind. the youth of today thinking that soi cowboy and nana is the best asia has to offer,  , dont make me laff. |

Bkk is dire, way too many plastic paddy bars and sports bars for my liking. When I first came here the old timers were telling me Bkk was losing its character, they were reminiscing about places such as The Mosquito Bar, I was lucky I caught the tailend of the bars on Petchaburi, now sadly gone. |

^^^^ www.snesejler.dk/bill77.htmPS, not mentioned up til about 15 years ago the old thai style nightclubs were still going, now dissappeared from up Sam Rong way (imperial world) think of places such as Dara Cafe. |

The Crazy Horse is still running? Many WanChai evening was finished off with a trip to that Joint (after earlier visits to The Wanch, New Makati & The Big Apple). Oh the memories. |

Was in HK a couple of years back and thought Ned Kellys was long gone..but no still there and the same menu cover as i one i stole back in 91 i think it was In 1993 I was head chucker out on the next door bar (The Red Lion), so I used to spend my nights having a smoke with the boys from NK's band. That was when Joyce was still the owner of the Red Lion. As for the menu, why bother, there was a Ka Ka Lok across the road, great fast food cooked before your eyes (and done to the way you asked). |

Remember the old Dara Cafe and the rest of the similar establishments on New Petchbutri road? Had some great times along there and in the establishments too. Always seemed to have a nice class of bad girls too.
Buckskin Joe's on the rail track twixt New Petchburi and Sukhumvit road was another favourite of mine too..
Mind you, the then Grace Hotel was a place to behold too as were its clients and girls it was like entering the bar in Star Wars.
Aye, good times they were too.
