One of my FB friends shared this: "https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/generic?iso=20181109T12&p0=1955&msg=Medical+Cannabis+Legal+In+Thailand&font=slab&fbclid=IwAR34CXgWeERXvc7U1rEzMlHjLHvDNHVquZuhZ_skA2N9A604ON7Sqx26o-I"
I dunno if that is going to show, but it's a countdown timer until medical marijuana will be legal in Thailand. First I'd heard of this. After a little googling, I found a few articles indicating that Thailand is considering it, and a bill has been submitted to the speaker of the house. But I couldn't find anything that indicated that some changes in the laws are 4 days away. Am I missing something or just not as prone to clickbait as my FB friend? Anyways, I love how the Yahoo article ended... "I'm doing this because it's an opportunity for Thai people," he said. "Thailand has the best marijuana in the world."
Experts agree and see similar potential.
"Today, Thailand can produce awesome cannabis at a fraction of the cost of Western growers," said Jim Plamondon, VP of Marketing at the Thai Cannabis Corporation, described as the country's first legal marijuana firm.
"Tomorrow, Thailand will reclaim its cultural legacy, by becoming the world's leading grower, processor, and manufacturer of cannabis products," he said.
"Any company that is serious about cannabis should start moving its supply chain to Thailand."

I remember in the 1980's in America, the most coveted weed was "Thai stick"... it disappeared completely in that decade.

Never going to happen, all the KSR types who think they will be skinning up are going to be dissapointed. "Thai stick" indeed, . "I'm doing this because it's an opportunity for Thai people," he said. "Thailand has the best marijuana in the world." Opportunity for Thai people, yeah right, do you have a license to grow it, do you have a license to sell it? Will you be allowed to sell on the open market without going through a middleman? Do you have an export license? Best in the world, nothing like a bit of self promotion, never heard it in mentioned in the same breath as Paki Black, Red Leb or Moroccan Gold. Reminds me of those, invest in agra wood farms, lets all get rich quick, aint going to happen. For the record, I dont smoke but have nothing against those who do, Uncle Sams war on drugs has been nothing but a toal waste of time money manpower and lives. If this brings relief to those in pain, I am all for it.

Thailand has the best weed in the world I guess he doesn't realize the western world has scientifically evolved since the 1980's. Anyway, they were allegedly going to legalize kratom too, it's good for heroin addicts and alcoholics.

Don't smoke the stuff any more but did every day for near on ten years. I am still weaning myself off of pizza. My cousin has MS and smokes it every day as it relieves his pain....the sooner it is legalised for this type of use the better. Frankly I applaud the stance taken in Canada as well.

Have you ever ordered a pizza ahead of time, thinking to yourself I'll warm it up later.
Only to realize the smell is to powerful to not eat it there and then?
Or is that just me?
Don't smoke it anymore either, used to try a bit once every 6 months/a year, last time though thought I was having a stroke or something
