Also known in earlier years as, A Mohammedan, a Blackamoor, Moresque. Had you stopped before this, you'd have been fine. A Mohammedan is any Moslem - not necessarily a fundamentalist. A Blackamoor is any black African or dark skinned person - not necessarily a Moslem. Moresque is an adjective, meaning "in style or design". The Moors were members of a northwestern African Muslim people of mixed Berber and Arab descent.

Note I said in earlier years Elizabethan times. When if you care to search a number of petitions were lodged with Elizabeth the first regarding the presence and activities of those mentioned. There were concerns then regarding there aims and purposes

Is that until the 12 days of Xmas rubl? Now listen carefully young man, I'll only say this once. I only counted the working days, not the weekends. Mind you, strictly speaking I should have left out 5 and 10 December (public holidays) for a total of 21 only In my case there are no working days until Crimble.

Ah, so Islamist are something similar to Militant Christians "Militant Christianity Even the title "Militant Christianity" sounds "a bit extreme". Perhaps it brings to mind thoughts of some militant Koran-obeying Muslim chopping off someone's head or detonating a bomb at a peaceful family wedding. I am sorry to disappoint you, but Militant Christianity is nothing of that sort. Militant Christianity instead refers to Christians standing up for Jesus and the Bible in a world filled with violence and sin. Militant Christianity therefore means refusing to be violent but also refusing to sin. It is Christianity that stands for something!" www.militantchristianity.com

What about the militant Christians who violently attack abortion clinics? What about the militant Christians who during the crusades took the bible to the infidels with the sword?

Apologies, I was a bit unclear. Maybe I should have said that I wonder about True Fundamentalist Baptists who stand up against whatever with a link to "Israel owns Gaza" Maybe this explains things a bit more, from the "Aggressive Christianity" website "MILITANT CHRISTIANITY by General James Green" www.aggressivechristianity.net/articles/militant.htm

I currently have a flatmate who gets up at 6am and sings songs and prays loudly to his deity.
I hear the words "Jesus Christ" a lot.
What should I do about this?

Like: . search for your military issue earplugs . join him in singing, till he stops . borrow Souties badger . emigrate to a country where they don't use the words "Jesus Christ" if that's the offending part . take your bible, confront him and bang it on his head for good measure.

He sounds so joyful I may just put up with it. I'd hate to upset his happiness.

Artemis the goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals and chastity. He might be more in favour of Aphrodite the goddess associated with love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation. Dionysus is said to have been her lover although he's mostly seen drinking.

Interestingly when I went to Ephesus there was a dead chicken laid out on a hunk of rock in the middle of the ruins of the old Temple outside the main ruins. It looks like she still has devotees. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f3/Templo-Artemisa-Efeso-2017.jpg/330px-Templo-Artemisa-Efeso-2017.jpg
