^^^ That image of a classroom just saddens me. Why on earth is there an American flag hanging there? Does any other country have that? And note that the map is centre (or should that be centered?) on America. With such jingoism you might think that America has something to be proud of. It doesn't.

Not aboard ship but on a couple of occasions when ladies were being admitted to the sacred hallows of a stone frigate. but you did not need to tell them to take off their socks and tops |

Just wondering ... Jesus Christ, Mohammed, Odin or whoever in charge will probably skip Armageddon / Ragnarok and directly move to 'This is the End'. Why you ask? Well, they probably would be inundated with questions about their motives, objectives and how they want to reach those. Of course there will also be the well-meaning with valuable advise and suggestions. Plus a few bureaucrats wondering if this is the right time do proceed.   |

I see more and more posts talking about 'escaping the matrix' and offering advise how to 'deprogram your mind'. Does that mean reality will soon be invaded by blank minds from the matrix? |

As I remember it that is a quote from Doctor at Sea by Richard Gordon. Very fiftiesish and the one on a cargo ship not the cruise liner. I always remember the line "I soaped a pair of socks and hung them to dry." This puxzled me for a long time until I read that rinseing laundry is a relatively recent practice. |
