The story gets interesting again. It's much more revolting and about greed filled people than anything you've seen on reality TV shows (although Trump is trying his best). Of course, we're not told all details as the investigations are ongoing, but the reaction of Trump seems to indicate he's not happy and he twittered "Heroes will come of this, and it won’t be Mueller and his terrible Gang of Angry Democrats. Look at their past, and look where they come from. The now $30,000,000 Witch Hunt continues and they’ve got nothing but ruined lives". Of course since President Trump uses #realdonaldtrump to talk with the American people, his twits are retained and may be used for or against him. Phrases like "conflicted prosecutor gone rogue" twittered by the President of the U.S. of A. can easily be construed as obstruction of justice and misuse of position. "Manafort held secret talks with Assange in Ecuadorian embassy Exclusive: Trump ally met WikiLeaks founder months before emails hacked by Russia were published Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort held secret talks with Julian Assange inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London, and visited around the time he joined Trump’s campaign, the Guardian has been told. Sources have said Manafort went to see Assange in 2013, 2015 and in spring 2016 – during the period when he was made a key figure in Trump’s push for the White House. It is unclear why Manafort wanted to see Assange and what was discussed. But the last meeting is likely to come under scrutiny and could interest Robert Mueller, the special prosecutor who is investigating alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia." www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/nov/27/manafort-held-secret-talks-with-assange-in-ecuadorian-embassy"Trump claims ‘heroes’ will emerge from Mueller’s Russia probe US president accuses special counsel of being a ‘conflicted prosecutor gone rogue.’ President Donald Trump on Tuesday continued to rail against Robert Mueller, attempting to sow doubt about the special counsel and his team, and suggesting that “heroes” will emerge from the investigation into Russian election meddling. In a string of tweets, Trump accused Mueller of being a “conflicted prosecutor gone rogue,” while providing no evidence to support his claim, and said Mueller and his investigators were leaving “ruined lives” in the wake of their investigation." www.politico.eu/article/donald-trump-claims-heroes-will-emerge-from-mueller-russia-probe/

In a short and to the point answer, what is the problem even if Manafort and Assange met? He also met Pammy Anderson(rumor has it he gave her one) and I don't see her the victim of a witch-hunt.
This whole Russian collusion causing crooked Hillary to lose Her election is getting a bit silly. If the yanks want to catch people for foreign interventions how about start with Obongos military attacks on 7 sovereign nations that caused millions to die and forever changed the middle east and north Africa for the worse by deposing much needed strongmen like Qaddaffi. THAT is bad foreign intervention, not some dude meeting with Wikileaks or Russian trolls playing on Farcebook.

THAT is bad foreign intervention, not some dude meeting with Wikileaks or Russian trolls playing on Farcebook. What's the problem? Well, timing, release of Democrat Convention email hacked by Russians, lying about it (under oath as well it would seem), etc., etc. What is silly is the constant insiuations of a 'crooked' Hillary with her emails whereas First Daughter Ivana Bin Trump of course didn't do anything special. The constant 'no collusion' with more and more info on 'minor only' people around Trump having had contacts with the Russians about the elections. The constant denigration of the former President OBAMA, the use of silly names. The many attempt to ridicule what is not liked (like your "Russian trolls playing on Farcebook" or "some dude meeting with Wikileaks"). All indications that some are getting really worried Mueller will find out the truth. Trump may keep on bragging that America has never been greater than under him, and only because of him, but that just in his imagination. One 'wrong' question and he walk away. People are starting to fear what he can do, annoy him at your own peril. Even foreign countries try to keep their free press in check to avoid annoying Trump. BTW regarding 'wikileaks', from 16 Nov 2018 "Soon after he took over as C.I.A. director, Mike Pompeo privately told lawmakers about a new target for American spies: Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks. Intent on finding out more about Mr. Assange’s dealings with Russian intelligence, the C.I.A. began last year to conduct traditional espionage against the organization, according to American officials. At the same time, federal law enforcement officials were reconsidering Mr. Assange’s designation as a journalist and debating whether to charge him with a crime. Pompeo and former Attorney General Jeff Sessions unleashed an aggressive campaign against Assange, reversing an Obama-era view of WikiLeaks as a journalistic entity. For more than a year, the nation’s spies and investigators sought to learn about Assange and his ties to Russia as senior administration officials came to believe he was in league with Moscow. Their work culminated in prosecutors’ secretly filing charges this summer against Assange, which were inadvertently revealed in an unrelated court document and confirmed Friday by a person familiar with the inquiry. Taken together, the CIA spying and the Justice Department’s targeting of Assange represented a remarkable shift by both the U.S. government and President Donald Trump, who repeatedly lauded WikiLeaks during the 2016 campaign for its releases of Democratic emails, stolen by Russian agents, that damaged his opponent, Hillary Clinton." www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/how-the-trump-administration-stepped-up-pursuit-of-wikileaks-assange/

Seems Trump is all for "Rule of Trump" and f... the other law and the 'other truth'. dearDonaldTrump twittered ""While the disgusting Fake News is doing everything within their power not to report it that way, at least 3 major players are intimating that the Angry Mueller Gang of Dems is viciously telling witnesses to lie about facts & they will get relief," he wrote. "This is our Joseph McCarthy Era!" ... Brian Klaas, an American political scientist at University College London, told The Independent Mr Trump's "pushing for political rivals to be jailed" was an escalation in his "dangerously authoritarian behaviour". "Rod Rosenstein has been a bulwark of the rule of law against Trump’s attempts to politicise it as a weapon to prosecute his opponents and protect his political allies," he said. "And now, simply for properly doing his job, the president is pushing the message that Rosenstein should be in jail. It’s extremely dangerous for the foundations of American democracy to politicise rule of law like this." ..." www.yahoo.com/news/trump-retweets-image-us-deputy-134800405.html

Back to Manafort, seems 'president' Trump is starting to show his real nasty (they're out to get) 'me, me, me' paranoia side. AS president he also seems to threaten a political party. Now that's real interesting and oh so democratic. Probably based on some article in the constitution Trump is still busy rewriting. "Trump Threatens to Declassify 'Devastating' Documents if House Democrats Launch Probes President Donald Trump threatened to declassify “devastating” documents next year if House Democrats launch probes into his administration. “If they want to play tough, I will do it,” he said during an Oval Office interview Wednesday with the New York Post. "They will see how devastating those pages are." Trump told the paper he would declassify FISA warrant applications and other confidential documents from Robert Mueller’s investigation, which he said would expose efforts by the FBI, the Justice Department and the Clinton campaign to set him up. “If they go down the presidential harassment track, if they want to go and harass the president and the administration, I think that would be the best thing that would happen to me,” he said. “I’m a counter-puncher and I will hit them so hard they’d never been hit like that.” Trump also told the tabloid he would wait to reveal such documents until they are absolutely needed, saying, “It’s much more powerful if I do it then.”" www.thedailybeast.com/trump-promises-to-declassify-devastating-documents-if-house-democrats-launch-probe

Isn't he supposed to be busy running the country? You should pay more attention. Our Donny-boy is running the country, single handedly as well. Never before did Americans have soo good a life, never before was America soo great. Never before did America have soo much to thank a single president for. Allegedly that is. At least Trump keeps telling and twttering that when he's not watching FOX News or playing golf.

Another of Donald Trump's close and trusted servants has split some beans and you know what? He's obviously a liar!
Of course if Michael Cohen was a liar for Trump for 12 years or so that either Trump is soo trusty and naive as to be the right, really the right person to be President of the Banana States of America or Trump may also not be too precise about the 'truth, whole truth and nothing but the truth' part.
Trump's new lawyer who doesn't lie of course put it as "Rudy Giuliani, issued a statement that said: “BREAKING NEWS ALERT: Michael Cohen is a liar. It’s no surprise that Cohen lied to Congress. He’s a proven liar who is doing everything he can to get out of a long-term prison sentence for serious crimes of bank and tax fraud that had nothing to do with the Trump Organization.”"
Interesting that whatever comes up always seems to be totally unrelated with Trump or his organisations even if it concerns work done for Trump or those organisations. What a way to run a business.

Perhaps a side story, but it's being reported that the ruler of the United Arab Emirates has bought the building in which Assange is staying. The conspiracy theorist in me makes me wonder whether the UAE is working at the US' behest in a move to evict Assange.
