I dont live in Phrom Pong, Thong Lor or any of those HiSo places, up my way in the moo baan there are the normal upmarket European cars, BMs, Mercs, heck even have a red plate Porsche, my eyes almost popped out my head earlier, a red plate Bentley Continental.
Who says the locals dont have money (its probably on HP, but that doesnt matter), will need to walk round with a bag over my head, or hang my head in shame, the 10 year old Civic obviously aint HiSo enough for these parts these days.

The local shebben is priced to keep the man bun farang types out.
Latest farang spotted up my way, the next heavyweight chumpion of the world, another dickhead running around in the midday heat in his muay thai shorts and obligatory sak yant tatts.

Looks like a place to go when you want to go away from it all .... and meet likewise minded who want to go away from it all .... and complain and agree with each other that the home country isn't what it used to be, the locals are still savages and it's impossible to get the respect you so obviously reserve. I think I'll pass on this. I have hardly any contact with the local Dutch community and it's mostly online to be able to keep a safe distance  |

Not typical, there's men there with dark hair and no tattoos.
But you are being a bit harsh rgs, if you live a distance from a major centre that is what going out for a drink with compatriots can be like.
