Probably one of the safest ways as long as the computer is allowed to dry well. Novel idea, really worthwhile to pursue. With someone else desktop that is, someone who will not sue you or forget that physical violence is a sign of verbal incompetence. BTW did you know there's a battery in there. It keeps the CMOS settings and system clock and so ... ... as long as it doesn't get (too) wet. The RTC might also be a wee bit touchy. |

Has an official life of a couple of years. Much better to change it..... Only a few minutes work to set it up again. Gets rid of all those cockroach droppings and mouse urine which I have seen in computers. |
