Not sure what's with Trump and the Bible. Doesn't seem likely he ever read it and certainly seems unlikely he understood what he read. Maybe he like to have a copy to wack people on the head with it? Reminds me of a saying in the Netherlands with a businessman and a Priest one telling the other "You keep them stupid and I'll keep them poor".

President Trump signaled his support on Monday for state bills that would allow public schools to teach courses in the Bible, which he once proclaimed was his favorite book.
Trump’s tweet came minutes after “Fox & Friends” aired a segment Monday morning on pending legislation in six states — Florida, Indiana, Missouri, North Dakota, Virginia and West Virginia — that would allow Bible literacy courses to become a part of a public school education.

“Nothing beats the Bible,” Trump famously said on the campaign trail in 2015 — not even “The Art of the Deal.”"

In breaking news, Trump made a statement to the press:

"I can confirm that my personal library was hit by a fire that is believed to be accidental. Personally I believe that Barack Obama played a part in the 'accident', but that’s just me. Some people are saying that.

"I am deeply saddened to have lost both my books, which have taken me years to accumulate and acquire.

"One was my favourite book. So personal to me. I'd nearly finished coloring it in. Sad."
