A few hours ago Trump spoke of a 'very big' success, but now we have "US walked away from discussions over disagreement on sanctions Trump says “it was about the sanctions. Basically they wanted sanctions lifted in their entirety and we weren’t willing to do that.” Trump says “we had to walk away from that particular issue”." But also "Trump is asked if it was his decision to end the talks or Kim’s. “I don’t want to say it was my decision, because what purpose is that. But we’ll keep the relationship,” says Trump." and not a threat of course "Trump is taking a question from Sean Hannity. Hannity says: How can you bridge the gap between the US and North Korean ideas about denuclearisation? Trump says it will take time. But “ we know every inch of that country”." An answer to a question not asked, which probably means the summit was a bit premature Trumpish. "Trump is asked whether he thinks it was premature to hold the summit. “I could’ve signed something today,” says Trump. “But it’s better to do it right than do it fast.”" and China gained some prestige out of Trump's (no) show? "Trump says Kim promised him “the testing would not start, the testing of rockets and missiles and anything to do with nuclear and we’ll see”. Trump is praising China for helping with discussions, saying they have had a bigger impact than most people realise, but he says Kim is a “strong guy” and doesn’t take orders from anyone." So I guess no Nobel Peace prize this time PS also a question on Cohen's answers at the Senate inquest. Trump says "Cohen lied of lot". We know that as it wasn't Christian mercy or charity which kept Trump relying on Cohen for more than ten years.

... and as Trump was not walking away from a deal anyway he also mentioned he could do the same with China. He knows how to walk away or go bankrupt to pressure creditors, he's America and China is just a larger creditor I guess. "Trump warns he could abandon China trade deal as advisers tout progress U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday warned he could walk away from a trade deal with China if it were not good enough, even as his economic advisers touted "fantastic" progress toward an agreement to end a dispute with the Asian country. The United States and China have imposed tit-for-tat tariffs on hundreds of billions of dollars worth of each others' goods, roiling financial markets, disrupting manufacturing supply chains and shrinking U.S. farm exports. "I am always prepared to walk," Trump said in Hanoi, after cutting short a summit meeting with North Korea's Kim Jong Un that failed to reach a nuclear deal. "I'm never afraid to walk from a deal. And I would do that with China, too, if it didn’t work out."" www.yahoo.com/finance/news/trump-warns-could-abandon-china-195752484.html

Walking, not walking but terminating, telling the truth, telling lies. Just the normal Trump - 'any other' negotiations and tactics. "North Korea denies Trump’s account of summit collapse Senior official denied country had insisted on the removal of all sanctions A senior North Korean official contradicted U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday, denying that his country had insisted on the removal of all sanctions in return for dismantling a key nuclear facility." www.politico.eu/article/north-korea-denies-trumps-account-of-summit-collapse/
