i can just imagine the outrage from the two week millionaires, the fabric of Bkk is being ripped out, its being sanitized, getting more and more like the souless state of singapore each day, bring back the noodle stalls, bring back the all night drink carts.

Duh! Pedestrians are poor people, not able to afford a Benz or even a Honda.  Too impecunious even for a motorcycle.  Of course they're the problem.

Do you think a policeman would ever take a pedestrian saying "Do you know who my father is?" seriously?
