Westminster Cathedral would be more interesting. Westminster Cathedral build late 19th century (if I remember correctly) is historical insignificant compared with either Westminster Abbey or the Notre Dame. BTW did you know "On December 16, 1431, Henry VI of England was crowned as "King of France" in the Notre Dame de Paris" Sorry to have confused you rubl, Westminster Cathedral was an oblique reference to it being RC, The Abbey was/is Protestant (not sure how they describe themselves lately). Thought you might have sussed that where possible my posts are a vehicle for base sectarianism.

BTW what with some here being non-believers I'm happy you managed to keep unto yours

Still don't forgive that pompous twat DeGaul, who shat all over everyone who ever helped him.

If he was still alive, we wouldn't need Brexit.

You have your facts wrong. Windsor castle is deemed state property, i.e. owned by the nation, much like the parliament buildings. I and Wikipedia disagree with you. To quote Wikipedia "Windsor Castle ... is owned by Queen Elizabeth II". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windsor_CastleYes and no. Technically, you are partially correct, but the reality is different and more complicated too. Here's why; Royal Palaces like Windsor and Buckingham are owned by the Crown Estate and made available to the monarch. The properties are managed in the public interest. This is no different than the manner in which the Chancellor of the Exchequer lives in the Second Lord of the Treasury's official residence, No. 11 Downing Street. His/her neighbor is the PM at No.10 Downing. The Crown Estate is in effect a part of the state. Because most of the profits derived from the Crown estate are sent to the UK Treasury, the nation has a defacto ownership. Crown land is land held on behalf of the people. Mind you, try and have a picnic on some crown land and you will be run off like a bunch of nasty travelers, but that's a different tale of woe. For trivia sake, the UK's seabed is also owned by the crown estate. I had no idea that because of that, it was a major player in the UK's wind power generation scheme. The Queen receives a portion of the crown estate profits to cover the expenses of the estates with the balance going to the national Treasury. Ownership is much clearer with the Queen's residences of Balmoral Castle and Sandringham House, because she owns them outright. Moral of this: Everyone's a winner and we all get ribbons, just like they give at Sports day at school.

Clear as the nose on our faces this was jihad. 850 years sitting there and just happens to go woof at Easter after millions of jihadis and sympathizers were welcomed into open borders welfare nanny state? I do not believe in co-incidence. That the authorities are too terrified to investigate speaks volumes. Time im afraid to close all mosques and start repatriations. We tried to co-exist. It didn't work. Never mind. That nobody even tries to explain your video footage of the arsonist at work on the roof is simply not acceptable.

Mind you, we're still busy with the 9/11 affair which some have it was an internal affair although allegedly Muslims and Jews were warned before to stay away. Just now a mysterious clip is said to have appeared which belonged to one who just passed away. No comment yet, but the clip seems to clearly depict a Donald T. handing a George W. B. some matches and barely audible there's a whispering of "Don't worry, no one will know, we're safe. I don't write down anything and you can't write"
