%G, the latest hype. In some parts of Bangkok my USB WiFi hotspot drops to a 2G connection. Wonder what people have in the boondocks. Not really different from parts of rural Europe. Rural America not commercially viable, Lagos excellent I hear. So, no Huawei, buy American stuff. All NSA approved and so to make you feel more secure. "Gather round, friends. Listen close. It's time to list the five biggest lies about 5G Let's cut the crap, El Reg style" www.theregister.co.uk/2019/04/25/5g_lies/

People that speak of this Huawei security risk don't realize that British Telecom has been using Huawei equipment for years.
British Telecom own pretty much all the UK's internet pipelines.

I think it was Verizon which recently found a big, real big security hole in some Huawei routers or somesuch. Mind you, some might say they just neglected to plug port 23 (i.e. telnet)

OH my God, quick shut off your American CISCO routers. A big, real big security vulnerability (aka backdoor hole) found which can be exploited by the Chinese, ehm, American government. As bad as the Huawei stuff "Sinister secret backdoor found in networking gear perfect for government espionage: The Chinese are – oh no, wait, it's Cisco again Better ban this gear from non-US core networks, right?" www.theregister.co.uk/2019/05/02/cisco_vulnerabilities/
