If you're in Bangkok. Bionergy practice is worth a visit on Sukhumvit Soi 23. One of the first chiropracters in Thailand, founded by the late Dr.Don. I've been going there on and off for about 15 years or so. They have changed the chiros since Don died. Dr.Chase I saw a few weeks back was good. Costs around THB 1,600. Always been well worth it for me. I found chiro more useful than physio, and also better than doctors at a hospital who basically just want to prescribe meds, or do surgery in worse cases . Obviously depends on your condition. But chiro is worth a look. Trust Fletch to recommend a place just round the corner from Soi Cowboy. Dr. Don was a smart guy, I'm sure he researched which areas of Bangkok people most often put their back out.
I believe soi Sukhumvit Soi 22 was a close second choice. Something to do with a high frequency of people falling off while dancing on tables and consuming copious amounts of alcohol. Allegedly

Surely, if they were any good you would have long ago stopped needing their services. For a rational and scientific view on chiropractic: "Whacking, Cracking, and Chiropracting Defined in 1895, chiropractic treats imaginary conditions with dangerous manipulations." skeptoid.com/episodes/4042

Plenty of medical conditions that require long term care management. Very surprised that you're so uneducated and-ill informed in this area that you would think otherwise
Feel free to google and educate yourself with words like: "joint conditions with no cure" or similar for a few minutes
You're obviously struggling with the whole idea so here's a very basic one to get you started...
even under A for Apple, or in this case say Arthritis, there are over a 100 different Arthritis conditions modern, rational, scientific medicine can't cure, though can often alleviate long term conditions.C,D,E, etc...
---------------
Back to chiro treatment though: Chiro treatment has significantly improved my conditions on many occasions over the years, as well as others I know personally, not to mention loads of documented research, qualified doctors who are also qualfied chiros etc. Sometimes better than the conventional medicine you favour, sometimes not, sometimes not appropriate. Each has their own place, and different things work for different people when it comes to both traditional and alternative medicines. Again educate yourself and you can use the best of both.
Perhaps doesn't work for you or most likely you've never actually tried.
As you've obviously no clue what you're talking about I'll skip the link thanks
"Defined in 1895, chiropractic treats imaginary conditions ".
Imaginary conditions - you need to get out more. Not sure where you found the article or your experiences but I've never been to the doctors or anywhere else seeking help for an imaginary condition
Cheers

Recognise the cause. It is usually a "spasm". Let Google do the rest.

If one applies your rational and scientific views and puts on your blinkered approach to non-modern medicine, please be reminded that in 1895 if one described the idea of antibiotics and the active mechanisms of antibiotics to doctors, that would also likely also have been viewed as "quackery".
And let one not forget Hippocrates, the father of your modern medicine believed that nature was made of four elements (water, earth, wind and fire). Yes that's right. 4 elements. Quite symbolic when you think there's 100 or so other elements he missed. He probably also believed the world was flat. If he had so much to learn no surprise one such as you does.

For a rational and scientific view on chiropractic: "Whacking, Cracking, and Chiropracting Defined in 1895, chiropractic treats imaginary conditions with dangerous manipulations." skeptoid.com/episodes/4042For an even more rational view and from first hand experience: Thirty five years ago I was diagnosed with a prolapsed disk, it wasn't imagined, I saw it very clearly on the MRI as the surgeon pointed it out to me. It was incredibly painful and any movement was extremely difficult, hospital strength pain killers were the order of the day. I was scheduled into the Nuffield for a discectomy, the last port of call for problems such as this and one with poor outcomes. By chance a chiropractor friend called and I told him the story, his words, "you can't unoperate" remain with me today. I hauled myself into Oxford to a chiropractor recommended by my friend, I walked stooped over and in massive pain, I walked out upright and mostly pain free, I cancelled the op. and several visits to the chiropractor later I was back to normal. The next thirty years were problem and pain free although the prolapsed disk remains, I've seen it on an MRI last year. Five years ago I began to suffer from numbness in the toes which over time has spread, the prognosis is that without intervention I will be in a wheel chair within three years hence I am once again considering a discectomy - chiropractics has bought me thirty years of pain free life and I'm extremely grateful for that. In another example of useful chiropractics: a chiropractor blocked the nerve causing immense pain from a frozen shoulder, it was instantaneous, nine months later he would undo the block. In the mind? Only in the mind of flat earth types.

Never looked into 'discectomy', but I would assume that what 30 - 35 years ago might give a dubious outcome will now give a much higher guarantee of success. I may assume incorrectly though.
