Post By Mohamed Dabo By Mohamed Dabo, Reporter, FE Trustnet Just two funds from the 87-strong IA UK Equity Income sector have outperformed the FTSE All Share index since the UK electorate voted to leave the EU in 2016, according to research by FE Trustnet. While funds in the IA UK All Companies sector had more success in outperforming the commonly used benchmark – with 71 funds from 262 outperforming, or 27.1 per cent – as at 31 July, only Man GLG UK Income and Neptune Income had achieved the feat. Brexit has been a key feature of the UK market since the referendum. Immediately following the vote just over three years ago on 23 June 2016, the FTSE 100 slumped by 9 per cent, while the FTSE 250 sank 12 per cent.
