I know a few of you served in H.M. armed forces. Why i am posting this now, who knows, but it is a memory i hold close to my heart.
As a boy from as early as i can remember i was taken to Earls court every year to see the Royal tournament. More importantly though it was to see Devonport compete in the Royal navy field gun competition, of which an uncle of mine was part of their crew in the late 70's.
The history of why it came to be, flying angels and the sad demise, because of Government cut backs.
All got me to thinking what a great idea for a ............... and then i thought maybe not, out of respect to all of those who took part,
