Anyone have any experience applying for a multiple entry NON B visa in one of the Thai embassies in Asia?
For a variety of reasons i cannot apply at the immigration office, but i do have all the paperwork to apply outside of Thailand, which i usually do im my home country but that is not an option now...
I hear Yangon is an option, but i read here that they require a work permit thats valid for more than 11 months from the date of application (i would have only 10)
Also, would prefer to go to another city.
Anyone have any good experience with this?

I did via Singapore. As expected for Singapore they were efficient.
I've done one more occasion, as follows:
- Usually it's easiest and less stressful to travel the day before, then go to the embassy on Orchard Road first thing, so you have plenty of time for everything. Singaporean MRT is efficient and a stop not far from the embassy. Taxis can be useful, but sometimes if peak hours can take a while, unless you order.
- I've done same day by taking a very early flight in the morning from BKK>Singapore. Then go straight from the airport to the embassy. It's do-able, as the airport/passport control is efficient, and a taxi ride fine. But you need to check all the times of everything. I've done this but it's more stressful in case anything doesn't go as planned. e.g. don't find the embassy straight away, traffic looks like being bad - though Singapore's traffic is usually OK etc etc. Will you hit the embassy before lunch etc etc. It just adds stress.
I prefer staying the night at a hotel close to the embassy on Ochard Road. Then the whole process is efficient, and much less stressful about being on a tight timetable, if you have all your docs in order

If your workpermit and non-B visa are still valid then you should be able to get a renewal of the visa without the need to leave the country. If you don't have a valid work permit it's a different matter.
