I will say this, this song makes me sad to the core. Worth listening to the lyrics before passing comment.

Since politicians are involved, this seems appropriate

Sadly from the outside and within, especially if you take London for example, that's all people really see and want to think about and there in lies the problem i think. It's not a big country/kingdom, but collectively many people exist in different ways. That so few privileged have ignored for a very long time. It's not about hate for someone from a different land. More so a voice that wishes to be heard from Fishing communities to rural workers, villages and Northern towns that have propped up this this place in the face of all kinds of adversities. Whilst being fed lies, told to abide to laws passed by people who know nothing of their circumstances and knowing all along while being undercut a decent living wage, that others were making a fast buck off the back of their hard work.

You'd be surprised how many recent arrivals from the UK I have run into in Oz. Even in remote places like Longreach. They all have a common theme. "England is f*cked". Anyway they all seem decent folk and are welcome here.

Totally unrelated but I'll put it here anyway. I just tried watching "the darkest hour" and "the king" on Netflix. It was like watching paint dry.

Got to love the Thais, they may be at each others throats internally, red shirt/yellow shirt, but if an external threat is percieved, they come together as one, funnily enough one of the informal names the Thais use for Thailand is, บ้านเรา, baan rao, our house. One of the greatest songs ever written, before he went all hippy dippy shit and dissapeared up his own ass. Welcome to thatchers britain. Up my way they were lighting bonfires in the street and having parties when they heard this cow had died.
