Somehow this made me think of our rgs "Man facing jail after playing 'Born Slippy' on repeat at 3am A man who played 90s rave hit "Born Slippy" on a loop in the middle of the night has been warned he could face jail if the noise continues. Clyde Taylor, 54, ignored warnings from police and continued to play the Underworld dance anthem on repeat in the early hours at his home in Eccles, Greater Manchester. The council were forced to remove his hi-fi, speakers and his electric guitar after he repeatedly breached the noise abatement notice." sg.news.yahoo.com/man-facing-jail-born-slippy-on-repeat-140051809.html

I'm hoping for some wireless headphones for Xmas.
Oh yes Eccles cakes makes you think the place is a twee village with rose bushes and a lovely bridge over a pleasant stream running through beside the Tudor pub.
Enjoy your visit.

I have done that before. Not born slippy and no repeat. As it turns out it is very easy to get shitfaced, arrive hack to a hotel at a reasonable hour and have some music going at a moderate level for the time, to all the sudden wake up at 4am and said music is not too moderately leveled any longer. I actually felt really bad about it. Nobody even knocked on my door but i got a ton of shit at reception in the morning. The key is not to say sorry no matter how sorry you feel.
