Interesting the remark from the Alternative for Deutchland members. As it they have no idea of what it means to be nursing staff. Would anyone here want Benny Hill as nurse? "Recruitment of foreign doctors is new flashpoint in Europe’s health debates The issue became contentious in Germany. Outgoing Health Commissioner Vytenis Andriukaitis waded today into the increasingly heated EU debate over the recruitment of foreign health care professionals, criticizing the U.K. for its plan to hire doctors and nurses from abroad for its labor-strapped health system. ... During a parliament debate in Berlin today, the country's far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) called on Health Minister Jens Spahn to stop recruiting nursing staff abroad, as he has done on recent trips to Mexico and Kosovo. Its lawmakers charged that Germany has “enough people in the country" and urged Spahn to either “re-educate the jobless” or train refugees that received asylum instead. ..." www.politico.eu/article/recruitment-of-foreign-doctors-is-new-flashpoint-in-europes-health-debates/

BTW back to the original topic I think I know why the AfD were a bit off.
Obviously they thought that if you only need to know how to lie with a straight face to be a politician other jobs can't be that difficult either.

UK law is not completely out of the question. If even one person in the UK has read the comments the courts are open to sue in. Neither party is a public figure so the need of proof is less. Of course in UK courts it is purely a civil matter. The Thai courts however could be much harsher. It could be a criminal offence here too. As such even posting a suit could mean that the party being sued could have severe restrictions placed on his movements. Of course it need not come to this. Retractions and cessation of making such statements could be used to lower the damage. I note in the US Musk is going to have to face court for his outbursts, and he will have to in the UK too. The internet is not a sanctury where anything can be said with impunity.

Always have hated Christmas myself A wonderful pagan festival hijacked by religious delusional fruitcakes who used it and still do as a whooping great lie to promote their control programmes of lies and deceit and moral blackmail.

That may well apply to heads of states like Presidents. Thus a wise person should be circumspect when pontificating on the deeds, comments and actions of foreign heads of states as well as possibly Prime ministers too.
The UN, NATO, SEATO ,EU are not national entities therefore one is able to comment as one feels fit.
