Here we are 9 months after this thread was started and the Pound/Baht ex. rate is back where we started at 40, for a moment there it looked as though 42 was actually dooable but alas not.
Brexit looks as messy today as it did 9 months ago, are we really making progress or just going round in circles! BoJo wants to break the withdrawal agreement, the EU wants to sue us and the Lords have said they will probably veto any law breaking proposal put forward by .gov, where will this all end I wonder.
On balance I would guess the ex.rate, from an expat point of view, is going to get worse instead of better, maybe it will get some help from an underperforming Thai economy, what a sad trade off that will be.
