We're sounding a bit cynical here. Any actual uplifting stories of people who 'made it'?

^^^^^, good gawd dear woman, go and wash your mouth out with soapy water, these are all hansum men. Deluded never mind, you cant tell them. Losers back home, losers here. Then again plenty of women on the take in HK too. I see it all the time. When I met my husband years ago he said he was into 'real estate'...not a problem, it was a love story and still is, he just didn't tell me his family built half of HK's skyline. Younger than me too.

Eh? Why have I to define it?
Success boils down to one word - choice.
As long as you have choice - you're good to go.

From what i remember, TB has already got it made in the shade, good man. I'm doing fine - sitting here in my new place with an old pal, singing Neil Diamond songs with him as I type. I'm leaving here to go see a Blues Brother tribute band with my big sister, and I'll be having dinner with my parents as usual this week. Summertime is family time for me, winter is snowbird season. That's my choice - that's success.

Job satisfaction, good friends, someone who can make hash browns is up there too. I agree. But the choice aspect encompasses that too. I don't like money obsession, I know too many people who have chased the coin into an early grave. I appreciate people that have a passion, that's one reason why you'll find me wandering about museums and art galleries - admiring passion and artistry - and if I'm lucky I'll meet someone that can explain what I'm looking at. That's why when I travel I try to do something out of the ordinary, at least at some point. Enter a Temple for a few days, or go live in a remote village. I'm looking for someone or something to inspire - like the ninety-five year old Shan monk that said "There's no Buddhism in Thailand, just superstition dressed up as Buddhism." And he said it with such passion - excellent.

Neil Diamond, what are you thinking? Where's your taste in music man? Aye well - when I said "old pal." I did mean old - he's seventy two. I've got my three hour techno list lined up for after the show tonight. Right, I'm off. My sister just called to say we're going to a restaurant called the Kama Sutra before the show - this, I need to see.

My mrs cant understand why i can spend hours in second hand record stores checking out vinyl, is this the gatefold edition, wheres the inserts etc. TB you must remember Listen in Glasgow? My Linn turntable awaits my return to jolly ole blighty, always fire up Van Morrison, Its Too Late To Stop Now,\ Listen to the lion, killer track. Check this out.
