Here in Mongolia they have been very proactive, schools are closed until March 2nd so I am teaching via Google Classrooms (great) and Moodle (pile of shite). There is also talk of the border being closed, which hardly inspires a good mood but I see that it is a sensible if rather extreme option. Honestly, I think the media here are whipping it up into a frenzy at it takes away from what really messes up the health of many Mongolians and folk from around the world who now call UB home. Alas, the city has turned into the world's largest ash tray again.  |

Five days a week I travel to and from work here in Bangkok. I was about the only person in sight who wouldn't be glued to his/her smart phone and since a while I"m also one of the only ones left not hiding my handsome face behind a mask. Should I start to worry? Furthermore should I see a doctor or a psychiatrist? Asking for a friend, ehm, err, the nice guy in the mirror that is.  |

Day 2 of lockdown at work and I am bored out of my mind; the kids might drive me nuts some days but at least they add some entertainment to the day, guaranteed.

You would be forgiven for thinking the world was about to end here. I am no longer permitted to work from the office, we were all sent home today after a pretty solid workshop on some online teaching platforms that I will continue to use for homework once this period of icey quarantine ends. Panic buying is a real thing now and all land borders with China are closed until further notice; not that will do much good in stopping folks crossing in the wilderness. Rather bizzarly, bars have to close at midnight and not the usual 4-6am that is the norm. I'm not really sure if that will do much to help haha

Only try not to fall asleep while outside in the (freezing) night |

China stops it's citizens intra travelling. Thailand still let's them in. When the Zombie Apocalypse kicks off in China. If they have money, they can come to Thailand.
